Main Objectives Of Da'wah
In the language of propaganda comes from the base
(masdar) Da'a-yad'u verb which means calls, call or invitation. By the term,
propaganda means activities that are inviting and calling people to obey Allah
in accordance with the line of faith, sharia and ahlak Islamiyah.
The word propaganda is often coupled with the word ''
science '' and the word '' Islam '', making it '' the science of propaganda ''
and '' the propagation of Islam ''. Studies of propaganda is defined as a
science that provides ways and guidance-guidance about how your supposed to
attract the attention of others to adopt, approve or implement an ideology /
religion, opinion or a particular job.
The person delivering the propaganda called '' dai
'(preacher), while the person who is the object of propaganda called mad'u. The
scholars of different opinions within the law determines convey the Islamic
da'wah. There are set as obligatory kifayah (collective obligation) there is
also a set fard ain.
Everything is equally based his opinion to the Qur'an
Surah Ali Imran verse 104. '' And let there is a party among you who call to
righteousness, ordering (do) what is right, and prevent it from being evil. And
they are the lucky ones. ''
Minkum words in the above verse there who think
mengendung sense tab'id (part), so that the law becomes Fadu kifayah
propaganda. Meanwhile, others regard it as za'idah (extra), the law becomes
fard ayn.
The main purpose of propaganda is to bring happiness and
welfare in this world and hereafter are blessed by Allah SWT. Namely by
conveying the values that can bring happiness and welfare of the blessed God
Almighty in accordance with the terms or their respective fields.
After being appointed as an apostle of Allah, Prophet
Muhammad proselytizing Islam either orally, in writing or deed. He began
preaching to his wife, family and close friends. Initially propaganda carried
out in secret, because the situation is not possible. However, after a number
of companions who embraced Islam multiply, preaching began to do openly.
Prophet also made propaganda by writing, by letter
containing a call, a call or calls only to embrace Islam to kings and heads of
government from countries neighboring Arab region.
Kings who received the letter or the minutes of the
Prophet, among others, of the Byzantine emperor Heraclius, Mukaukis of Egypt,
Chosroes of Persia and King Najasyi of Habasyah (Ethiopia).
