ISLAM IN RUSSIA NOT EVER FADE
PART 1
Stretched
far to the rear, Islam first entered Russia, namely in Dagestan in the
mid-seventh century and developed to the North Caucasus, especially through
trade with Muslim countries around.
When the
Muslim army under the leadership of Abd Rahman ibn Rabiah, reached the South
Caucasus after taking over the reins in Persia and al-Quds (Jerusalem). The
troops managed to conquer the Kingdom of Kazar ruling in this area during the
Government of the Umayyads, the year 737 AD.
Soon,
Kazar Empire was subject to the ruling Umayyads, who then transform this region
as well as the administrative center of the spread of Islam to the natives of
the Caucasus. Up next, forming the first Muslim country, Volga Bulgaria in the
year 922. From where Islam can finally establish his authority over to the
northern and eastern regions of Russia, especially Siberia.
By the
local population, Islam is acceptable to open. This is because the ideas are
taken as universal justice, fraternity, antikezaliman, and loved science, was
able to win the hearts of citizens.
The
second wave of future spread of Islam in Russia took place in the period of
Mongol rule under the leadership of Jusi Ulusi or Altan Ordon, who inhabit the
northern region of Inner Mongolia in 1242. They really had control of the
Caucasus and Dagestan, but does not have a significant impact on the social
life of citizens ,
Be,
everything that exists in the society has changed, such as culture, religion,
language, and more. Thus, in the early 15th century, emerging Islamic kingdoms
in every region except the region between Moscow and Kiev which was inhabited
by ethnic Slavs.
Until
the end, the little kingdom was conquered by the Muslims of the Russian Empire
in the 16th century. And, the first subject is the kingdom of Islam in the
Volga-Ural, given Russia is eyeing the region because it is considered very
strategic for transportation.
