From the story, there are the great lessons that can be a lesson for Muslims. Determined is needed before the Muslims put their trust in God. It is stated in the Qur'an sura Ali Imran verse 159, Allah says, "... Then when you have determined, then put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust in Him. " In the story, the boy showed promise attitude with extraordinary determination. Until then, he handed over his affairs to God by submitting a piece of wood. He trusts in God that his letter reached its destination after having determination in his heart to fulfill the promise of replacing its debts
