When Going To Sleep, Muslims Are Recommended Remembering Allah
In the book of Riyadh As-Righteous, Imam Nawawi also explain the virtue of remembrance for those who in sitting, lying down, menstruation, or junub. People who junub and menstruation are not permitted to read the Koran.
'' Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for men of understanding, (that) those who remember Allah, standing, sitting or in keadan reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and earth (saying), 'our Lord, You have not created this in vain, Glory be to You, then save us from the torment of hell'. '' (Surah Ali Imran verse 190-191).
As narrated by Aisha RA, Rasulullah SAW always invoke the name of God under any circumstances.
'' And, be patient with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, desiring His face, and do not turn your eyes. '' (QS Alkahfi: 28).
In fact, when going to sleep also, someone recommended to always remember Allah. Referring to the letter of Ali Imran verse 90-91, they constantly dhikr at when standing, sitting, and lying down.
Narrated by Bukhari from Huzaifah and Abu Dhar RA, "Behold, the Prophet SAW said, 'If you went to bed (going to bed), read Bismika Allahumma Ahya wa Bismika Amut. In Your name, O God who raised and by your name anyway I die '. "
In the history of Imam Ali and Fatimah, the Prophet taught both to constantly exalt, bertakbir, and bertahmid (praise God), each as much as 33 times.
And, of Aisha RA, narrated by experts of hadith, the Prophet taught that a Muslim before bedtime is recommended to read Surah Al-Ikhlas, Alfalaq, and Annas, each three times. With it, he will be well-maintained and incitement against evil genie.
From some of this information, it should be every Muslim to always dhikr (remember) to God, cleanse his name, asthma glorify Him, and be grateful for all the gifts and blessings that God has given His servants.
It is very naive when a man who has been given a variety of gifts that are reluctant to pray, refusing to remembrance, and would not be grateful for the blessings that have been bestowed.
Therefore, the number of assemblies of remembrance at this time should be best utilized as a manifestation of gratitude to Allah SWT. Not by questioning and accused of remembrance activities and considers it as something that is contrary to the Quran or hadith of the Prophet SAW.
