Tracing The Trail Dzulkarnain
Part 1
It is told, King Dzulkarnain had wandered up to the eastern region of the world (where the sun rises) and then proceed to the western region (where the setting sun). After that, Dzulkarnain then turned to his direction to the north that there are two hills (mountains).
Behind the two hills, there is a group of nations (people) who often make mischief on earth. And, people are very difficult to understand the language by Dzulkarnain.
Then, there is a translator who came to him and told him the nature of it. He asked Dzulkarnain to help other groups of disorders such wicked people. Dzulkarnain ordered to build a wall (fortress) that the materials are derived from iron.
After a pile of iron that reaches the same height as the top of the hill, Dzulkarnain ordered to burn the iron. After the burning iron, ordered that the fire was blown.
On a pile of iron, copper poured hot in order to strengthen the fortress (the wall) is. Dzulkarnain asserted, that people will not be able to climb moreover perforate the wall, unless willed by God to the castle (wall) was completely destroyed.
That is the summary of the story Dzulkarnain as described in the Koran sura Alkahfi verses 83-99. Two people who were behind the two hills is Gog and Magog. Then, where the existence of Gog and Magog? Where solid walls are constructed such Dzulkarnain?
Many people might Dzulkarnain tells the same with Alexander The Great (Alexander the Great), which is a king who came from Macedonia, Greece. There is also, who called Cyrus II of Persia Ancient. Meanwhile, many opinions that say that Gog and Magog are the Tartars and Mongols. There is also, associating it with the story of Gog and Magog (Greece).
