So based on the above considerations and comparisons of various conceptions of experts who debated these two terms -if attemted to draw conclusions- basically al-Maududi was not too worried about the difference of these two terms, this is obvious from the terms always used by him in mention of efforts understanding of the Koran which he did by using terms of tafser. But, althought such between these two terms be recognized by him that it is different substantially, therefore in his statement above -as written by Ahmad Syathibi in a translation- he distinguishes and sort it. Therefore conceptually he followed a general distinction which is prevailing among scholars of tafser in distinguishing these two terms.
