2. The Quran As a Book Containing The Question Basics
According to al-Mawdudi, al-Quran is not a book containing details for, as found in textbooks circulating around us, but the Quran is a book that explan the question basics generally. Therefore, in studying it could not be equated with textbooks common. Although basically is same-same form of writing on paper. Written with human language, it is Arabic. But, a clear difference is in esnsial al-Quran is a revelation from the lord of the universe. Have a language style that is very deep, contains variety of problems such as Aqeedah, muamalah, history, prohibition, threats, suggestions, obligations, instructions, etc. Even in side of the writing it the Quran was not classify in chapter-chapter, as well as in textbooks common. so from there, someone will find it complicated to understand the Quran.
Because such that, to obtain a good understanding of the messages contained in the Qoran, an interpreter, can not generalize it as at the time when he would understand the common texts. The uniqueness and specificity of the language and its regulation contained in the composition or structure of verse-by-verse in the Quran, making it as a text book full with secret messages that it actually triggers a sense of curiosity of someone to study it. Of course, it must be stressed again, in the study it was not to be equated with common textbooks, therefore according to al-Mawdudi, who are accustomed to struggling to understand ordinary textbooks then its method applied to the Qur'an, surely he would find it difficult to identify the topics, purpose and or primary discussion. In fact, he will also feel strange because his ignorance abaut relativity relativity sentences of the Quran.
